420 #103 (AM) Captain in the Stoner Army

It's official: I have attained the rank of Captain in the Stoner Army -- bestowed upon me by Mr. Bong Rip himself of Bong TV Live. After getting no takers from my late-night call on Twitter, I stopped on over to the Hot Tub (i.e. private room for adults) at Bong TV Live and enjoyed my 4:20am session with a couple of Stoner Army Generals, with Bong Rip overseeing the festivities and bestowing upon me the rank of Captain for puffing on camera. I guess I'll have to shoot for Major next time I visit -- which, knowing me, won't be more than a night or two.

420 #102 (PM) Love Smoke from Reno

I haven't been able to have a real 420 session for the last few days, so when I managed to get ahead at work and take a day off, I made sure I was at home this afternoon. I managed to get a few folks to join me online -- @D1DeeDeeDream was the first to answer my call to arms, joined shortly afterwards by @ChrisRobson. But the highlight of my session came from the lovely Georgette in Reno -- aka @gcrush -- with this beautiful tweet sent my way at 4:20:

420 #101 (AM) Two Year Anniversary of 420 Sessions Blog

At this precise time two years ago, I wrote the first post for this blog. Though absent for much of 2009, I am happy to say that I'm still here, alive and smokin'. Writing this blog and interacting with folks from Twitter and elsewhere across the web is truly a pleasure -- always good vibes across the board. I stuck my head in at Bong TV Live tonight, but the whole room was full, so I decided to just celebrate with Twitter pals -- as I should, dammit!

A couple folks came back for their second session in a row: @pufforpass came back for more, and @lisa2bags was having another night of bad sleep and joined in the fun. New Twitter smokemate @DourSiesel also came on board tonight, and from the sounds of it, will be along for many more... as will @pufforpass from what I gather...

I did a quick bong rip on 12seconds.tv for the anniversary -- I still can't believe it's been two years. I'll be doing some stats and analysis for the hell of it in a few days, but for now, just enjoy the quick video of my bong rip:

420 #100 (AM) 420 Session Number One Hundred!

I've reached another major milestone on this site - one hundred 420 sessions! We will do a giveaway at the 25% mark -- post #105 -- but for now, I'm just happy I made it this far. I made two new Twitter friends tonight, both joining me for the first time. I was first joined by @pufforpass, who is in the process of launching a 420 blog. Insomniac smoker @lisa2bags joined for the fun in an effort to get some sleep. Plus, as I was getting everything ready for a bong toke, I noticed another tweet in my list:

How could I pass that up, especially on my 100th session! Sadly I couldn't get my webcam working on the site, but I was puffing my bong along with all the folks from Bong TV Live (@bongtvlive on Twitter). Nonetheless, I took a quick video to commemorate my 100th 420 session - enjoy!

420 #99 (AM) Late Night Solo Reward Session, Just Me and Miles

I don't usually like to smoke alone, but as it was the end of nearly 24 hours of being stoned, and I had felt the need to plunge into working on the blog, I took it a little easy for my third 4:20 session in a row. I had been working particularly hard since midnight, and when 4:20am rolled around, I just wanted to step away from the computer for a while and enjoy a bowl to myself -- if nothing else as a reward for the hours I'd put in today. I loaded up my pipe with some really nice greenery I just got (watch for a video of it in the next few days), turned off the computer and television, put on some tunes, and enjoyed the session with me, myself and... Miles.

420 #98 (PM) It's 420 All Day and... Where is Everybody? Plus a Star Trek Bong

I can't believe it -- I had more people join me at 4:20am than 4:20pm on 420 All Day 2010? Really? Last year, I had a dozen Twitter folks join me for the afternoon 420 session, but this year? Just one -- one of my regulars, @rabadance. Thanks, @rabadance for being there!

Since there wasn't much to report from the session itself, and since I'd been watching the new Star Trek movie this afternoon... and because I'd saved this months ago to post on the blog... I give you the Star Trek Enterprise bong, courtesy of What-A-Bong:

420 #97 (AM) 420 All Day 2010 Early Session - Three Pipes, No Bongs

Time for my second 420 All Day on this blog! I started the blog just after 420 All Day in 2008, so that also means my Two Year Anniversary is coming up, too! Lots to celebrate today: 420 all day, blog re-launch, 420 all day... oh yeah, I said that already... can you tell I started a little early?

I had a nice online session with Twitter friends @gcrush and @ChrisRobson for the first of many 420s today (this being the first "official" one). I was tempted to pull out the bong, but as @ChrisRobson pointed out, it was a little early/late:



As it turned out, all three of us were using our pipes! Not a bong between us -- hard to believe on 420 All Day. All in all, it was a great start to 420 All Day 2010. I can't wait for the full day ahead...

Site News: Site Re-Launch and Special Edition 420 Day EP

It's official -- 420 Sessions has relaunched as of today, April 20th, 2010, or 420/2010! That's so much for sticking with us while we get out act together -- we are very excited for the next year of sessions here on the blog, plus the many new things we will be bringing you in 2010.



For our special 2010 relaunch, we commissioned our friend at Electrophonic Research Labs to finally get off his lazy ass and put out some music. We tossed him a few bucks and voila! Please support us and him by throwing a few dollars our way when you download it, but otherwise it's completely free!
