Tonight, I explored the wealth of 1970s thrillers on Netflix Watch Instantly. I watched a couple of great flicks, and if you've never seen either one, put them in your queue. The Parallax View is a classic of government conspiracy, with a rash of politically motivated deaths - plus a crazy fight on top of the Space Needle!
The Cassandra Crossing is a disaster movie in the mold of Towering Inferno and The Poseidon Adventure, but not nearly as good. Still, it's a predecessor to Outbreak and Andromeda Strain in many ways, so I'd say it's worth a viewing. And Sophia Loren is stunning in it -- did I mention that?On top of great movies, I met up with a prolific Tweeter that goes by 420 Thoughts for the official Magic Hour -- I think we must be kindred spirits! Thanks for joining, Mountain Girl!
