420 #55 (AM) Early Halloween Movie Time

I've got a ton of gigs and other work this weekend, so I won't really be able to enjoy Halloween much. I decided to enjoy my late night tonight with a double-feature, thankfully provided by a friend for the occasion. Have you seen Hellraiser or Hellbound: Hellraiser II? I don't think I'd seen either one before myself, but I'm a devoted fan as of now! And I hear they are doing the "reboot" thing and bringing back Hellraiser next year! It's been joint after joint tonight -- I highly recommend!

420 #54 (PM) The Return of Terry Tate

With all election news getting pretty serious, and the real right-wing crazies starting to come out of the woodwork -- don't watch Election 2008 on Twitter -- I was thankful when someone posted a link to the Return of Terry Tate. If you aren't familiar with his previous work for Reebok, or you'd like to see all his videos, visit the official Terry Tate site. Otherwise, you can watch my favorite of the new batch below -- I watched this at 4:20pm EXACTLY for maximum effect.

420 #53 (AM) Old School Thrillers and 420 Thoughts

Tonight, I explored the wealth of 1970s thrillers on Netflix Watch Instantly. I watched a couple of great flicks, and if you've never seen either one, put them in your queue.

The Parallax View is a classic of government conspiracy, with a rash of politically motivated deaths - plus a crazy fight on top of the Space Needle!

The Cassandra Crossing is a disaster movie in the mold of Towering Inferno and The Poseidon Adventure, but not nearly as good. Still, it's a predecessor to Outbreak and Andromeda Strain in many ways, so I'd say it's worth a viewing. And Sophia Loren is stunning in it -- did I mention that?

On top of great movies, I met up with a prolific Tweeter that goes by 420 Thoughts for the official Magic Hour -- I think we must be kindred spirits! Thanks for joining, Mountain Girl!

420 #52 (AM) Beautiful Nugget of Greenery II

Well, I got lucky once again. This was part of my latest purchase, and therefore the beautiful joint I rolled before I finish out the night:

Enough said.

420 #51 (PM) Coast to Coast Tweeters Join Afternoon Bong Rips

I slept all afternoon after a super late night of working, and woke up right at 4pm with time to rally the troops.  It's been a while since I've taken some serious bong rips, and since I was in for more working, I figured it would be a good way to jump start my day. With my usual 420 signal on Twitter, I got both a Brooklyn, New York and California Tweeter to join me! The bong rips left me spinning! Thanks for joining, Inked and Alex!

420 #50 (AM) Joined for Sunrise in Florida

I've been enjoying the power of Twitter to connect with people. In the last few weeks, I've tweeted prior to a 420 session to see if anyone wanted to join -- even though we can't physically, we can in spirit. Tonight I was joined by one of my Twitter followers in Florida, who rolled up a nice blunt to join me with my bowl. I tried to imagine it looked like this:

Thanks for joining, Sara! If you'd like to follow us on Twitter, click here!

420 #49 (AM) Addicted to Discovery Channel

I am such a sucker for good late night television I'll just let the TV run for hours without changing the channel if it's even mildly interesting. I'm here to say that The Discovery Channel is a mother load great, stoney content. Where else can you see how drum sticks and hockey pads are made? Where else can you see dogs mushing through the snow? Where else can you see crazy storms and wicked destructions? The Discovery Channel. It's been on since before midnight, and while there's infomercials on now, I'm rewatching the coolest stuff on YouTube. I just loaded a fresh bowl for the third viewing of how drum sticks are make -- enjoy!
