420 #5 (AM) Ready to Hit the Road

I'm leaving for the airport in three hours (7:30am), so I decided to just push on through and enjoy my last session at home for a while. I'm headed South for a couple of weeks, and then back home, but I probably won't have the opportunity for as much puffage while I'm gone. Be on the lookout, however -- one never knows where or when opportunity might come knocking (see my earlier post).

No Longer Dry + Good Herb Karma

Well, I'm no longer dry, but I wouldn't be writing a post if that was the only news. Rather, as my buddy was going to hook up for the two of us this evening -- we've both been dry -- he stopped to get some gas at a nearby gas station. Getting out of his car, he fumbled a bit with his keys and they hit the ground next to the car. Kneeling down to pick up his keys, what should he discover, but a nice little piece of greenery on the ground -- of the gas station. What are the odds!? Needless to say, he was on the way to pick up, but still, isn't it always when you are dry that the "good herb karma" comes your way? He made it to my place shortly after, told me the story, and we proceeded to enjoy a nice Swisher filled with our recent purchase -- plus the gift from the herb Gods.

420 #4 (PM) Dry and Scraping

Ugh! Put down a bit too much last night, and now I'm dry! Thanks to some neglect, I was able to scrape up enough to get rid of my awful headache, but merely replaced it with a new one. It's been a long time since I scraped, but I figured it would happen at least once on this project, so here it is. Ugh!

420 #3 (AM) Another Late Night / Bong Session

While I don't have the best of the best when it comes to bongs, this little number does a nice job for the late night set. I'm ripping a bunch of DV tapes into the computer, plugging away, and then four o'clock rolls around -- damn, it's late. I'm pretty much obligated to puff a little at that point, and with sleep not far away, I figure, why not. Plus, a little Kiss Kiss Bang Bang helped keep the time moving along.

420 #2 (PM) On the Road

I've been all over town today running errands before my departure on Monday. When 4:20pm rolled around, I was listening to "Prairie Home Companion" on NPR and enjoying a quick but pleasurable puff on the open road -- of the freeway. Not the most glamourous 4:20 session to say the least, but it certainly got the job done!

420 #1 (AM) Up Late Getting Ready to Head Out of Town

I've talked about starting this blog with some friends for a while now, and since I'll be on the road for the next three weeks, I won't have as many opportunities to start this, so I figured -- now is the time. I'm documenting four-hundred-and-twenty 4:20 sessions -- a strange and wacky idea, I admit, but at the same time I thought, I might as well do something constructive with that time if I'm gonna puff.

So here's the first entry, my first of many 4:20s for this site. I hope you support the project in whatever way you can - comments, subscribe, donate, or just keep on keeping on.

I've been up late, late, late tonight getting ready to go on a job out of town for three weeks, so I'm getting all my ducks in order before I split. I've got a nice bowl here just for me, in my usual solo piece: a nice, little green glass pipe. With the laundry going in the background, I'm taking it easy, catching up on some web video via Miro, and hitting the sack for a few. I'll probably be enjoying a session tomorrow afternoon, so look back for more posts soon.
